The pitfall of the common man is they haven't learned how the world truly works for themselves. Forces are at play -- physical, political, generational -- that dictate what certain outcomes are going to be. Instead, the common man yields to widespread narratives to understand the world around him. The problem is those narratives are controlled. The market doesn't have an agenda. People do. So if you bypass the people and media, and simply evaluate the market and global events for yourself, you can cut through the narratives to operate successfully no matter what the market throws at you.
