Gold, the dollar index — and the fact that, according to the IMF, the US is expected to grow at double the rate of any other G7 country — all point to volatility, continued and new wars, and a period of chaos mixed with opportunity that only few will take advantage of.
It’s not enough to cheer it on and watch it come and go because… I don’t know if y’all have noticed but inflation is not transitory… and current debt levels don’t give Jerome much flexibility to go full Paul A. Volcker (yes, put respect on his name!) to tame it.
I can’t dictate nor influence our hypocritical policies on war and aggression towards other countries or the tragedies we respond to or don’t respond to. Heck, you could even say that, as a taxpayer (did you all enjoy April 15, 2024?), I contribute to bloated defense bills and the continued misuse of our awesome and brave military.
