In less than two years, Digest Publishing has given over $17,000 to charities and organizations selected by our employees.
It’s not just a way to give back. It’s something we all look forward to every month.
When it’s someone’s turn to select a cause, they get to tell the entire team about it at one of our weekly staff meetings. Sort of like a show-and-tell for adults that generates good vibes while also supporting important work done by volunteers and nonprofits. 
For June 2022, we gave nearly $1,000 to The Trevor Project, which is the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQ) young people.
Suicide is the second leading cause of death among young people aged 10 to 24, and LGBTQ youth are four times as likely to attempt suicide than their peers.
We want to be an ally to those we live with, work with, and love. And so we’re proud to make this contribution, selected by Teddi Murillo, one of our Digital Marketing Specialists.
