Hey guys, it's Nick.
I wanted to show you what we have going on at our house — the Hodge Lodge, as it's called.
We're putting in an in-ground pool and a cabana.
All the equipment's here... the Bobcats and the excavators and the remote-controlled tamper — all the cool stuff.
But the really cool thing I wanted to show you was put in the ground here today.
It was dropped off on a big old flatbed. It's a thousand-gallon propane tank that we've put in the ground. It will connect to a backup generator that'll power the whole house.
So we'll have all the creature comforts if we lose power for multiple days. Not just the fridge and chargers for the iPads and things... But also the HVAC, the heat, and the AC. It'll power the whole house. It's a whole house backup generator.
And what's really cool about it is that it can hook up to the grid and be outbound.
You might've seen me talking about virtual power plants recently…
About how this is the future of energy... and about how this type of new electricity — or new energy — has received a lot of funding in the recent $3.5 trillion infrastructure bill that just passed.
And so I just wanted to show you that I eat my own cooking.
Not only do I talk to you about virtual power plants and how to invest in them, but I invest in them myself. I invest in the trends that I write to you about. I do these things in my real life.
We're installing a virtual power plant-ready generator. These new Generac (NYSE: GNRC) generators come prepared to hook up to the grid. They are already using them in some instances to create virtual power plants.
The future is here. And I'm taking advantage of it.
But it’s not cheap to build custom pools and cabanas and install whole-house backup generators that double as virtual power plants.
I wouldn’t be able to do it without having success investing in the things that I write to you about.
Like I said, I eat my own cooking.
I've had success investing in energy over the years. I've had success investing in virtual power plants and the components necessary to create them.
You can learn more about virtual power plants in the other videos I've posted.

Call it like you see it,
