Bitcoin, Bombs, and Blow-Ups - Bizarro World 293

Bitcoin and gold don’t need to dance in the ring.

Both are winning the fight against fiat and record global government debts.

But the dollar is surging as well. And that’s a different signal entirely.

Is it because Trump is going to drain the swamp and cut the pork? If so, we wonder why he didn’t do so his first term.

Or is it because we’re going to bomb our way out of an untenable fiscal situation? It’s probably not a coincidence that China was testing new fighter jets and an aircraft carrier this month.

War isn’t the only type of tool governments can use to distract from and augment the debt mess they’ve gotten themselves into.

They can also run the money printer and cut rates. Jerome insists he’s willing to do so lest we start seeing blow-ups from the aforementioned strong dollar.

Plus, if you didn’t notice, the media was executed this election cycle for failing to report on reality. The polling was way off, again. Podcasters are the most powerful outlet in the land. And traditional media continues to fail to report on basic realities — like the fact it was easy to see Trump won early on election night by looking at asset prices and betting markets while the talking heads kept mumbling about their maps and remote counties in Michigan.

Speaking of podcasts, we cover all this in the 293rd episode of Investing in Bizarro World

Catch it while it’s entirely free. Because of the value delivered, we are going to a paid model starting next year. You get a taste of why in this episode as I deliver field notes from a recent site visit to one of my top gold holdings.

We also touch on private placements, as they are how we’ve made the bulk of our wealth and we continue to invest in them. In fact, we have a deal open this week

It’s all in the 293rd episode of Investing in Bizarro World
