A New Level of Bizarro World

You’ve had the opportunity to listen to 299 episodes of our free podcast, Bizarro World

Every week, for over five years, Gerardo and I have turned our microphones on and given you our undiluted takes on whatever was happening in the world and how we were managing our families and our portfolios through it.

We’ve done deep dives on topics we have the most experience with, like investing via private placements, the uranium market, junior mining speculation, and select individual companies.

We’ve expanded into crypto coverage, with frequent appearances by our in-house expert on the subject, Chris Curl.

And we often discuss stocks we’re invested in personally and that are covered in the premium research we offer here at Digest Publishing.

Many of you tune in every week for the investment and entertainment value it offers. We appreciate that and we have fun making it.

But more than a few of you have expressed that, as subscribers to our research, the value we offer in the podcast is diminishing the value of our premium research.

That is: they are buying the cow but we are giving away the milk for free.

We agree.

And as capitalists, we do love a new product.

So, starting this week with episode 300, there will be two versions of Bizarro World — one free and one paid.

The paid version will be recorded live every permissible Thursday. You’ll be able to watch us record it every week.

Bizarro WorldThis is something we’ve never done or offered.

Each episode will deliver actionable macro analysis and stock discussion across multiple markets and sectors in real-time. New episodes will be divided into four sections:

  • Macro Musings - A look at the major US and relevant global stock indexes. Commodity callouts. Precious metals. Inflation and recession watch.
  • Market Takes - Non-portfolio market happenings on a more granular level: sector, commodity, or company-specific. Wealth, tax and real estate ideas.
  • Bizarro Banter - Discussion of culture and policy that is non-portfolio specific.
  • Premium Portfolio Picks - Discussion of companies, themes and ideas across premium publications

You’ll also be able to submit questions in advance to be included in the weekly broadcast.

The first premium episode will be recorded this Thursday, January 16. The introductory price is $99 per year, or less than $2.00 per episode.

It’s worth it as a standalone product for the new Premium Portfolio Picks section by itself.

It’s also the perfect compliment to your other premium newsletters if you’re already a subscriber with us.

You can see all the details here.

There will still be a free version of the podcast. It will be published the following Monday after the premium version is recorded, and it will be stripped of the Premium Portfolio Picks section.
