Since last week: We’re beginning to see what kind of effect a prolonged trade war is going to have on the broader economy.
1. Gold Under Pressure
Gold has found itself under pressure, with prices declining to near-two-week lows. A slight rebound in the US dollar has some influence on this development, but gold still has plenty of momentum to continue climbing and breaching new all-time highs. It’s going to eventually regain that lost ground and the bull will keep charging. Click here to hear from Nick Hodge and Gerardo Del Real about what’s likely to happen and how to profit.
2. Manufacturers Crippled
Trump’s tariffs have left businesses in a “state of near paralysis”, according to a survey conducted by the Institute for Supply Management. Manufacturing activity is at a five-month low, thanks mainly to Trump’s trade war. This is the economic pain many said was starting to take shape. It’s only going to get worse from here. But there are ways to not only protect your wealth, but profit from the chaos. Click here to learn how to do it.
3. Bitcoin Clawing Back
Bitcoin found its way back above $96,000, signaling that momentum may be returning to the coin. It hasn’t been at this level since the second half of February, but this kind of volatility is typical of Bitcoin. Investors who’ve waited out the shaky periods have always been rewarded. All indications point to that being the case this time as well. Click here to learn more and what else, besides Bitcoin, is set to thrive.
4. Harvesting the Sun
Farmers in California are retooling parts of their land to harvest sunlight. Some of the harvested power goes to running their operations, while much of it gets sold to utilities. This is another reason why demand for renewable energy is only going to climb for the foreseeable future and solar panels and the like are going to be a more common sight. That means copper, a core component, is going to be more sought after than ever before. Just as supply is drying up. One American company has the solution and that means big profit potential for its investors. Click here to learn more.
What to Look For
Look for dropping consumer sentiment amid a protracted trade war. That will be something to watch as more outlets begin talking about a potential recession.
Keep your eyes open,
