Profiting from the Incompetence: Metals Surge on US Debt Spiral

The thesis for higher gold prices continues to strengthen as the Senate has voted on and passed the “Big, Beautiful Bill” which, among other things, adds even more unsustainable debt to a bloated and insolvent US balance sheet.

That as President Trump continues to berate the Fed to cut rates.

The bottom line is, regardless of how you lean politically, our elected officials have decided that addressing our insolvency will not be a priority anytime soon.

As I’ve said many times, “I can’t do much about the incompetence… but I can profit from it!”

Silver continues to look robust as it seeks to break out towards the US$38/oz level, which should lead to a spirited surge past the US$40 mark.

You should all have significant exposure to your favorite silver explorers if you haven't done so already. Junior Resource Speculator subscribers are up 525% on my largest personal silver holding… and with drills turning, I suspect that will be a quadruple-digit winner soon.

While gold and silver get the bulk of attention, platinum and palladium are continuing their upward surge as well. Platinum just saw its biggest monthly gain in nearly four decades, putting in a 27% increase in June and up another 4% today.

On the uranium front, even Cramer is now pounding the table urging everyone to get into the uranium space. Better late than never, and I suspect Cramer might actually get this one right.

Copper continues to march toward record highs with futures firmly above the US$5/lb mark.

Last but not least is the ultimate contrarian trade right now: lithium.

Lithium futures have been up seven of the last eight trading sessions and are up over 10% from the recent bottom. Everything from the producers to the explorers are coming off recent lows. And with the amount of short positions in the lithium trade, do not be surprised if the move higher continues and accelerates.

Those are the types of moves that happen during a commodity supercycle. They’re violent, they happen quickly, and they can make you a fortune.

Let’s get it!
